Stephen is a Chartered Accountant and has over 25 years experience as an accountant.

Stephen’s experience started as a junior in Launceston, Tasmania working for KPMG and an ex Coopers and Lybrand firm, working mainly with fishing and farming clients.

From Tassie he then worked overseas in London for a multi-billion dollar international business before moving to the wonderful Sunshine Coast.

Since moving to the Sunshine Coast, Steve spent 5 years with a Noosa leading accounting firm, working with small and medium local business owners to grow their business and ensure the profitability of the family business.

Steve’s most recent employment before the GFC was as head Commercial Manager for the national land operations of ASX listed company FKP Limited. This role required many skills to manage all levels of the construction and development industry and a huge responsibility to report on 2 billion dollars of pipeline revenue.

Since starting Tightlines Accounting in 2010, the firm has grown quickly to capacity.  Steve current business focus on assisting business owners and individuals with all of their financial needs. He is responsible for the accounting, taxation and strategic business needs of his clients. This includes managing the preparation of accounts and taxation returns, preparing cash flows, providing GST advice, taxation and business advice, the purchase or sale of business and assisting in the refinancing of business and private loans, leases and hire purchase agreements and dealing with the QBCC.

BRERETON KAY CPA

Brereton has 18 years’ experience in the taxation/business services field covering a broad range of industries. Brereton commenced as a graduate accountant at a local Noosa Accounting firm in 2003. Brereton completed his CPA (Certified Practicing Accountant) qualification in 2006. Brereton has had a diversified client base, and has much experience in most Accounting matters

Brereton has a passion for Small business, Superannuation and succession planning and likes to work as an integral part of his clients’ businesses. Becoming an integral part of a client’s business enables Brereton to develop an understanding of the financial and operational issues of the business and as a result tailor solutions which results in the best possible outcome for his clients.

Dimity is a CPA Accountant and has over 10 years experience as a corporate accountant, working with businesses across all of their financial needs. Having worked “in” businesses Dimity has outstanding technical skills that helps to be the link between you and your tax accountant.

Dimity’s experience covers publicly listed ASX company to a local family owned multi entity operations along with a recent contract with a large local not for profit sector organisation. Having begun her career in Brisbane Dimity has worked on the Sunshine Coast for the last 8 years from retail to service based industries to not for profit and many businesses in between.

Having now commenced working at Tightlines Accounting, Dimity is an economical and effective solution for small to medium business who require the services of a qualified accountant who can always ensure your internal books are up to date and accurate.
